I am trying to get to 4.8-4.9 and don't want to kill anything I have a infrared thermometer and aircooling for the most part so far stable at 4.6 thanks to multiplier setting. aira64 going on 45minutes i maxed the powerphase on the left at 141 before stopping and getting my RAM fan near it... now 125ish... that thing is not cooled by the heatsink at all.. why asus?
so what are some temperatures to avoid.

WOW that is quite high, I am not able to comment about what the max or safe temp is as I have never measured. Will see what I can do and rectify that remiss - but not sure how I am going to achieve that. Broke my infra-red thermometer (kids)

I'm sorry, but what is "125ish"?

I thought if we have overheat protection in BIOS enabled, we can use that power phases as we want.

>that thing is not cooled by the heatsink at all.. why asus?
If it's not covered by a heatsink, maybe it's a throttles(chokes)? They got max operating temp +130(155) C.

Can you show directly?
