Hello guys,
I have a question here, hope you guys can help me to answer this.

1. Is it the i7-4820K compatible with R4G?
2. Is it the bios need to be updated first to run the proc with this board?, because there has no view at the monitor while all has been setup and run.

Im going with that both question first.
If anybody know what is going on, hope you can help me here.

Thanks in advanced!

I changed the name to R4G.cap and yes of course it did. How else was I going to get the BIOS to pick up the CPU. Before the flash it was q-code 00

Ok. Noted.

It seemed kind of strange at first considering that any BIOS prior to 1404 uses the ROM format still. And the newer 4403 BIOS uses the CAP format. But you being able to flash it despite the motherboard using the ROM format and your BIOS is in CAP format is amazing. This is some nice information for future cases. So we don't have to recommend users to run the ROM to CAP converter at all.

Use this bios http://www.mediafire.com/?ebvigk79u9vixg9

rename that bios to R4G.cap

It works I have done it myself not two hours ago. 🙂

OK lets try something else then.

Download the bios convertor and rename it R4G and flash that. It is a rom file so it will flash for you.

Then use the BIOS I sent you. I am trying to work out why you are not able to flash, and I can not recall if I ever did run the BIOS convector previously.

Failing that.

Go on EBAY and look here.

You can request that he updates the bios chip to the latest version for you, then once your bios is cap ready then you should not have any problems.

When with .CAP, its not working.
While with converter .ROM, working.

Ask the shop to just install the cap converter, you do it the same way as you flash the bios. EZflash2 in the tools menu of the bios. Navigate to the converter and click it.
