Hello guys,
I have a question here, hope you guys can help me to answer this.

1. Is it the i7-4820K compatible with R4G?
2. Is it the bios need to be updated first to run the proc with this board?, because there has no view at the monitor while all has been setup and run.

Im going with that both question first.
If anybody know what is going on, hope you can help me here.

Thanks in advanced!

Yes it is compatible.

And yes you need to update your bios to the latest version.

Use the USB flashback method. There is a guide in my sig.
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.

Depending on your shipping BIOS, you might or might not need to run the converter.

Once you have flashed using the USB flash method there is nothing more to flash you will be at the latest bios.

I've check at the board, the REV is 1005, so its seem i need to use a converter.

Situation 1: I already flash using the converter, and the flash working.
Situation 2: I try to update the bios by usb flash to the latest .CAP but after the LED ROG COnnect button blink for 5 times, nothing happen.

For both situation, I try to start up the system. Just when the system to boot for a second, its go down back for a 2-3 seconds then it try to boot again then down again, like not enough power.

the spec is like below:
mobo - R4G
proc - i7-4820k
cooler - H100i
RAM - dominator 8Gb
PSU - Corsair GS700
GC - HD7850

Unfortunately, you need a SB-E CPU to complete the ROM to CAP conversion because part of the process involves you posting to finish the BIOS update. Return your motherboard to the shop that you bought it from and have them update the BIOS for you. It's either that or borrow a SB-E CPU from a friend.

Could you please inform me where you got this from? This is totally incorrect and completely misleading. See my result of USB flashing the bios with only a IVY-E processor.

Thank you.

Someone at ASUS needs to figure out a solution to this.
This is totally unacceptable that new users are buying boards and are unable to use them because ASUS has not put out a BIOS converter that supports the latest CPUs.

HiVizMan, Raja, Shamino? This is a very serious issue.
