VII Impact - Wake on USB?

Hi All,

I have a VII Impact motherboard for my Media Server, and I'm trying to get my machine to wake up via USB.

The reason is, I have a Harmony Hub remote, and and Amazon Echo, so I can use the Echo Harmony skill to tell my machine to turn on.

However, I've bought a USB Bluetooth dongle (www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007Q45EF4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Rz2nyb046HBKM), which was recommended on a blog post about setting this particular process up with Echo and Harmony)

When I go to the Power Management settings for this module in device Manager, the 'allow this device to wake the machine' is greyed out? So I can't get this to work.

Strangely, I have a USB mini keyboard, and when I put the PC to sleep, I can push any button on the keyboard and it wakes the machine up.

Does anyone know why a) the setting is greyed out on one USB module, and b) it would wake from the other?

Would it be anything to do with a BIOS setting or powered or non-powered USB ports (not sure if any of the VII impact USB ports are powered)?

I can't find any specific USB port settings in the BIOS, only WOL settings from S4 and S5 states.

If anyone has any ideas, or wakes their Maximus machine via Bluetooth with Harmony remotes, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
