VII Impact Poor Raid0 Performance

I've recently built a new rig with the Impact VII sporting two Samsung 850s in Raid0 for a ~512GB (if only it was 512) boot drive. The stripe size is 128KB. I have a similar array on my Rampage IV Extreme with Samsung 830s.

The 830 array is able to achieve 1000 MB/s read and 600 MB/s write.
The 850 array is able to achieve 525 MB/s read and 520 MB/s write.

I've compared the settings on the 830 rig to the settings on the 850 rig and they all seem to be the same (power management, BIOS settings, etc) so theoretically I should be getting double the performance that CrystalDiskMark and AS SSD are reporting on the 850 setup.

I'm assuming that I've overlooked some sort of BIOS settings as I can not for the life of me figure out why my 850 array is so slow. Does anyone have any ideas on what I could be missing? My head is sore from making contact with my desk for the past hour. Thanks in advance!

1 thing i tell you get benfit with ssd raid 0 transfer only big files but you get every file accsess few milliseconds delay i had similar idea to make ssd raid 0 but there is no trim on raid ssds. Possible trim works in raid or not with latest intel raid drivers idk because i not tested.

If you use old raid arrry created older pc and use on new there canbe performance issues try to recrate again with new mobo because raid rom is different. Few bits possible different member disks witch can cause some issues on compatibility

Intel raid drivers have had trim support for years now. So that's not the problem. And if these are new drives then lack of trim wouldn't be an issue yet anyway.

Have you remembered to disable cache flushing and enabling write back cache mode in the Intel RST software? It's a bit puzzling that you're getting straight up single drive speeds hehe.

That's what I was thinking. It's like I'm running one drive but the capacity is obviously the equivalent of two. I'll report back with my findings.

EDIT: Well it turns out that the cables labeled as Sata III weren't actually Sata III. GG Newegg.
