VI Formula Rear Audio No Headphone Amplification

One of the much discussed Maximus VI sound problems. I seem to have little to no amplification when I plug my Headphones to the rear jack. The front panel audio works fine but there is a noticable interference as with any front audio jack. I have tried drivers 7218 and 7161 without any luck. I used to not have this problem in the past but I don't remember if I got it after a driver update or after I upgraded my Windows 8 to Windows 8.1. The stock Windows driver seems to do a better job at amplifying than the Realtek one but sound quality is not that great. I have stopped using my headphones because of this problem. Can anyone help me?

Really, nothing? Thanks ASUS ROG representatives, guess what brand of hardware I am not going to be using in my next computer.
