V GENE Keeps reseting

Hi i just got the maximus v gene and installed it and windows got it all up and running and it done a load of updates then asked for a restart and once it restarted it would just keep reloading the boot sequence over and over if it helps i kept seeing the code 62 on the debug LED.... if anyone could help i would really love that

Please press the mem go button and if that does not help clear the cmos.

For your information there is a new BIOS out for this board 813 if you have not updated from the shipping bios yet.

which one is newer
the 078 from shamino from kingpin`s forum, or this 813 one?

The 813 is official. The 078 is a beta bios mainly for folks who are not to stressed about such things.

078 is newer but does not mean it is more stable.

I should have mentioned i tried those options and it still kept doing the same but after a reinstall its all fine now and working great but about that bios update how do i go about doing that

Also if anyone could tell me why my 40mbs connection is runnign at under a meg only on that computer

For bios update I would use EZ flash from a fat formated USB drive with the bios fiile on it. Dont forget to F5 to load defaults and save before flashing.
