Unstable System and BSOD 0x50

Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum so let me introduce my self, the name is Ithar and am actually struggling with my new system (1 week old) :

Rampage IV Extreme motherboard. (Current bios version 1404)
i7 3820 .
16 GBs Corsair XMS3.
AMD Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 OC edition.
OCZ ZS-750W psu.
2TB Western Digital 6GB/s HDD.
and a Corsair h80 cooling unit.

Am actually running on a windows 7 ultimate 64 bit with sp1, and here is the list of problems that i have encountered:

1) System crashes randomly sometimes with a BSOD 0x50, or it just freezes with a black screen until i reset it manually.

2) After a crash it refuses to boot being stuck at a b2 debug code unless i restart it multiple times and then it shows me the message (Overclock failed) thought am running at the optimized default values except for the XMP mode.

3) Every time i run a stress test with Intel burn test, prime95 or Fur Mark it goes BSOD after a minute or so, and now ( witch is new after installing the 12.7 beta driver) after i run a game at full specs the same thing happens, even after returning to my original 12.4 the problem persists.

So if anyone can help me with this i would be really grateful, since I've spent all my savings into this and all i get is a total disappointment :'( .

Well, Valk, if the system satisfies you and you can use it for what you want to do on it - then I guess it's fine. Enjoy it!

With a 4.8-Overclock and XMP memory to 2133 4x4 gb. Could be the cause of low voltage CPU 0x50 BSOD? With XMP processor to 2133 stock and no BSOD 0x50.

Thank you for reply in Spanish 😄

I saw you were from Spain 😮 try a bit higher maybe start at 1.25 and reduce from there if stable.

This afternoon try to 1.25 v. The only thing I'll give the stress test with games. Now I have the MHO. Crysis 3 alpha.

What I'm learning this system X79, is that nothing is what it seems.
IBT is stable with 10 passes and then to 20 minutes of play at 60% load fails.

The memory I have is 9.11.10.27 1.5V

Yeah I had that memory kit, I had to use 9-10-9-24 to get it to work stable over time. I also had to overvolt them a little (1.7V) when at the full 1600. They ran at 1533 fine (on my X58 system) at 1.65V (FYI I could only get them to do about 1640 max., @1.7V or more, before instability). Remember to raise VTT to at least 1.25V if you raise DIMM V above 1.65V. Eventually I distrusted it so much (suspected them as the problem in many cases) I no longer use them.

(EVGA site: ) And I have a second (wife's) computer, Eve.

Overclocking is useless to me if it is not rock stable.

What you really learned is that passing IBT means only that your system can pass IBT... - so, pretty much is useless to run it...

If your main computer usage involves gaming, then your test application will be that game...

Have you tried to increase the DRAM voltage? You have to have a really good CPU/IMC to run 2133MHz, CL9 at 1.5V! That usually needs 1.65V...
