Trim Question

So I've got some conflicting answers from my research on this and please point me in a direction if I'm missing something but on my 2 ssd's I have in raid0.... fsutil shows trim is enabled and when I got to Windows 8's defrag and optimization tool I can select optimize and it runs trim on them but when I run trimcheck it says it's not enabled?? Am I missing something?? I hate to say it but I'm confused :S. I'm running RST 11.7. Any comments or thoughts are greatly appreciated!!!

When you run Windows 8 optimize, do you see the HDD light burn continuously for 20-120 secs? The duration varies with drive size and SSD manufacturer. During this procedure your drive also won't be easily accessible. You can test this by loading up a fresh web page.

On the other hand, if the TRIM completion count ( percentage) just races through to 100% within 1-2 secs, it's not working.

Hey thanks cx-ray for the quick and easy test!!!! The drive is NOT accessible when the TRIM optimization is running. So I guess I'm good to go!!!
