I would like to run two samsung ssd 840 pro 256gig in raid 0. People have told me that I will have trim issues and not to do it. I thought you could do it with this MB. Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks

Cool! Can we flash them within Advanced BIOS? or needs ROG Connect port?

ROG Connect port.
There's a "certificate" thing from Asus that we need to "crack" in order to make the BIOS flashable via EZ-Flash BIOS Menu or within windows with Asus PC Probe whatevah.

Thanks for the link, going to try it this weekend! Has anyone had any issues with the latest one?

I have flashed the 12.0.0.1783 on my Maximus v formula.

Everything went ok, but onced i switched back to Raid, I could not longer see any sata devices connected to the Sata 6/Sata 3 ports from the z77 chipset.

Also, i could not boot any disk from my dvd-blu ray (Both under the z77 sata ports)

However, once I changed from raid to AHCI, the drives are back and i could boot from any device.

What can i do??

Also, Is someone using the 11.6.0.1030, 11.6.2.1002, 11.6.5.1006 version of iRST? It seems to run faster than the current 1.7.

Thanks a lot!

I have tested just about every 11.6, 11.7, 12.0 and 12.5 IRST driver I could get my digital paws on.
Some will definitely slow down the speed rate in my case: RAID0 xSSD. It will vary between 500 Gb's W/R and 1000 Gb's W/R for me.

What I have witnessed:
