Too much time in POST Screen - Asus Maximus Hero VII [SOLVED]

Hi guys, I´vs recently bought a Maximus Hero VII for a new build , and i´ve run trough a few issues . Two weeks ago i had to update BIOS, because i had a problem with my graphics card, which i had to RMA eventuall. Now, after new BIOS update, a have the cool boot "issue" which I know is normal, but now whenever i boot the pc will stay like 20 sec on POST screen, and if i try to use my keyboard in order to get into BIOS by pressing F2, keyboard will lose power for 10 sec, and then recover by its self, everything while still being on POST screen. Once thats happen, i can rather get into BIOS pressing F2 normally, or wait for a few more seconds to windows starup.

Any idea ??

By the way, POST delay time on BIOS is setup to 0

EDIT: So, i just disconected everysingle usb device( mouse, keyboard , headset, and microphone), before booting, and i went to windows startup screen in a second, holly molly . SSD rules.
So, its not really fixed, but this should do the job at the moment, we will see in the future ^^

Hi w3ap0ns and Welcome to ROG.

When Bios is updated settings are generally set back to default, Have you tried the Fast Boot option and rechecked other Bios settings relating to Boot Menu options?.

Yes, if I remember well, Fast Boot wasnt enabled, but I turned it on, also set the POST delay to 0 as i said. People suggest that this motherboard have trouble recognising usb devices, so some people have solved their problem by removing all usb devices and waiting the pc to boot . However , I havent tested it yet, because im waiting for my new graphics card , and im going to do a Windows 8 fresh install, as well as upgrading to the new bios for HERO VII (1104), which is said to solve the "cold double boot" issue, and if im lucky, maybe it solves the POST screen issue too. Ill keep you informed

set your 'USB Support' in Bios to 'Partial Initialization' and leave all USB Devices attached see if it helps?

Nope that won't work, ever since I connected a drive let it be a DVD drive HDD to the system it keeps scrolling through the POST test making my SSD feel like it's a HDD, you can disable all drives fast boot slow boot o seconds and you'll still have the same results. It's like it checks ever drive even though you told it not too, something needs to done because I shouldn't be waiting around for the system to boot, plus waiting for the keyboard to wake up after 8-10 seconds again making my Samsung 840 EVO SSD feel like it's a HDD.

So I had both my mouse and keyboard connected to front usb on the case, removed them and plug them on the back usb ports . The PC booted as fast as an ssd should boot. See if that helps you too .
