Hey when I get a 2011 mobo i want the best as well as an Rog board. Unfortunately the asrock extreme 11 is almost better with the 4x 16x possibility i was wondering if asus would do this on an rog flagship board it would be great hopefully the asus development team sees this fingers crossed. Would anybody else possibly want this since the RIVE is getting old and really does need a refresh.

If you look at reviews on the web the RIVE is a far better board, Asrock did put everything but the kitchen sink on that board but it doesn't seem to do any one thing better than any other board available. I believe ROG boards are designed to be the best for there intended market, and they accomplish that. Which is why ASUS markets different boards at different markets. Almost better is not better, almost is not ROG

My humble opinion only and every body is allowed to theirs

It accomplishes 4x 16 by using 2 bridge chips instead of one. That in turn increases latency which makes the graphics subsystem actually slower than if they used 1 PCI-e bridge chip. It is just a marketing gimmick. Besides..good luck running out of bandwidth on PCI-e GEN3 x8 slots:)

Dell U2412m IPS 1920x1200; Cooler Master HAF 932 case; Tripp-Lite OMNIVS1500 UPS fully Line-interactive.
(EVGA site: ) And I have a second (wife's) computer, Eve.

Overclocking is useless to me if it is not rock stable.

The reason is that i am saving money for a dream amazing build with two gtx titans and a pcie ssd the thing is that they cost so much and i don't want to lose any bandwith i also am planing on using a pheobus. So that is two two slot cards a 910 series ssd from intel and then the soundcard does anyone know how that will preform.

Have u check reviews on the pheobus and drivers and such. Like I like the sound card and all but I hear problems on the drivers. But if you already got one and experience things well with it then im sure u know how to configure it than me 😄 .. Since I took my chance out on getting it, since I was looking for a sound card with no problems.

It will perform fine. PCI-e bandwidth won't limit you. The 910 series anyhow is GEN2 x8. Do not worry. Those 910s though cost an arm and a leg.
