Strix b350-f Gaming

I've built myself a ryzen 1800x, Strix b350f gaming, G Skill f4-3200c14 16 gtz.
Updated bios, so ram running at 3200mhz 14.14.14.34 no problem. I cannot get the motherboard to hold multiplyer of anything above 38.5.
Every time I set it to 40 or 41, it just boot to 38.5. Any ideas?

Good Day!

RYZEN 1600X, MOBO ASUS STRIX B350-F Gaming, BIOS 0902 , 3.8Ggz , OS - Win 8.1 Pro

Bios settings: CPU Core, Manual Offset "-" 0.05

After start computer CPU Voltage is 1.35 . Its normal (BIOS settings works)

After exiting the sleep mode, the voltage on the processor decreases to 1.31and is at this level

Who faced the similar? Why decrease voltage and why it does not rise again?

tnx )

Can any of ASUS reps comment this bug?
Also, why does this board only has offset voltage regulation? Almost every lowcost b350 board from Giga, Msi and others have manual direct voltage regulation.
And this board is meant to be the highest tier of b350 asus boards it seems.

I believe this bug was also present on the ROG C6H and still hasn't been 100% fixed.

Our main tech guys are still working on getting these Ryzen boards up to par, but it will take time; please be patient 🙂

As I've said a few times now, the guys over at HQ will prefer to release quality updates/fixes, not release fixes every other day which fix one thing, but break 20 others

I will contact Raja and see if he knows how to help / knows any more information on this bug

Even though I've not managed an overclock on the processor, it did get to 4.1ghz on just the stock settings, RAM at 3200mhz 1.35v, while gaming with hw monitor running in the background. 73c max.

Pls help me, tnx in advance!

Hi All,

My mobo on BIOS 0809 after having ram compatibility improvements managed to hit 2800mhz just by selecting DOCP. Rams are ripjaws F4-3200C16D-32GVK.

After flashing to BIOS 0811 I found it to be unstable, and flashed back to 0809, the rams still did not managed to be stable at 2800, 2600 and now even 2400. Now both BIOS i have not been able to get any stable config except 2133.

Anyone has a clue what is happening?

Have you tried clearing CMOS settings? I think you should try. After that you should also increase the VRAM voltage in the DOCP settings. I'm currently on 0809 and my RAMs (G.Skill TridentZ F4-3000C16D-16GR) can run up to 2666Mhz without increasing voltage. to achieve 2903Mhz, i have to raise it up to 1.5v

using the latest bios helped me a lot with my F4-3200C14D-16GFX. vut when i touch the g-state setting and change it from auto to enabled it will crash again. so i leave it on auto for the moment.

I have cleared CMOS. Still the same issue. No idea this is freaking me out. It seems stable @ 2800mhz back then and now I am stuck with 2133. I believe something hardware related must be broken somewhere

I have also realised with certainty that my RAM switches between 1T and 2T as it wishes. Ironically at higher speed it switches to 1T. And at 2133 it is sometimes 1T or 2T. I mean, what else are there in the settings are uncertain? Perhaps that's why sometimes I have stability and not always?
