Strange problems

Hi guys,

I'm having weird problems with my pc, let me start with specs,

R4E, 3960X, G.Skill 2133C9, Seasonic 1250W, 3x GTX 480.

1- First problem is that after my computer shuts down the mouse will turn on by it self, just the mouse, I'm using Logitech G9, the mouse DPI leds will go on and you can adjust the DPI, I mean you can press +/- buttons on the mouse and you will see the DPI indicator goes up and down as in the windows but it's only the mouse that's powered on.

2- I have the R4E since the SB-E launch and it's the best board I ever had, but since last night something weird happened I'm not sure if it's the board or the PSU, everything was normal I made a proper shutdown but when I came back to turn PC on it didn't want to turn on, the led lights were on but the Start button didn't work, turned the PSU off and on and it worked, but since then every time I shut my pc and try to power it on I have to turn the PSU on or off or take the 24Pin out and blug it again, I also noticed when I first encountered this issue that while I was pressing the I/O button or taking the cable out (on the psu) the board will turn on for a moment and then shuts down, as if there is an electric short or something.

Could someone help me plz, thanks a lot for your help in advance :).

Best Regards,
Samer.

Thx for the link, tried that before, didn't work :(, I'm sure I tightened it evenly, I'm using EK Supreme HF with easy mounting screws so it has a limit, I mean the screws stops after a specific space.

Also tried to loose the block screws a little and it didn't make any difference.

Also I just started the PC normally today (45 mins ago) and I didn't have to turn the PSU on and off!!

Yes the screws have a stopper, but if you do one end completely the CPU is uneven. That is why the vendors include a pattern or guide to suggest the best method of fastening.

I have that block and the instructions are not great in that regard. They kind of say tighten opposite screws but it's the literary equivalent of mumbling.

Best to tighten pairs of thumbscrews on opposite corners of the block at the same time half a turn each....one pair of diagonal opposites half a turn.... then the next pair of diagonal opposites half a turn .....like this all the way down till they come to a stop .....thumb tight only.

Hope that's not mumbling too!
