strange power problem

just noticed something that want happening
when i turn off my pc even with shot down bottom the pc shot down then if i touch any button
on my keyboard it start again??? giving me critical error messages about shutting down improperly
and windows failed to start start after i start

hello,

Windows 8-8.1 has hybrid boot enabled by default. When you shut down your pc it is actually going into sleep mode. Disable hybrid boot and see if you still have the problem.

you mean fast start up ? yes i disabled it and it worked . windows 8.1 has many power bugs like shut down restart loop .

is fast start up and hardware fast start up at bios related ? how should they be ? to initiate a real shut down . thanks

To initiate a real shut down you have to disable hybrid boot which is a windows 8-8.1 feature. The only drawback to disabling hybrid boot is that your pc will take longer to boot as it is actually booting instead of waking from sleep mode.
