Specific USB device problems.

I'll get right to the skinny:

my CM Storm Sentinel Advanced mouse is not responding correctly - I'll elaborate In a moment.

I've tested every USB port, excluding USB 3.0.
Every other device works in every other port.
Every other device works in every other computer I have tested; including the Sentinel Advanced.
Every other mouse works with this computer, without fault.
I've installed and re-installed both USB and mouse drivers.
I've set the "suspend USB devices to save power" to null.

Now Here's the problem...
My mouse, the Sentinel Advanced, works great...
I can use it for hours without fault or any sign of erroneous behaviour.
As soon as I stop using it, even for a moment; Windows gives me a "beep" when you unplug a USB device, then quickly reconnects causing freezing of the mouse.

EVERY TIME.

So, at first my natural response was to test each USB and several devices in them -
I have ruled that only my Sentinel Advanced in ANY USB port will be the only device with this problem. Be it front USB or direct on the back...

After specifically testing, and It was a chore; I have narrowed the EXACT cause:

The mouse will momentarily suspend when PICKING IT UP.
Moreover, specifically when, I assume, the 5600 dpi twin laser has to adjust for the distance.

Each time I pick It up off the mat, and hover to and fro several times, Windows gives the USB chime like I had physically unplugged it and plugged it back in.

I am stuck as to how to get this to work?
Possibly disabling USB Legacy support in Bios?

Things to keep in mind:
the cord itself, nor the Sentinel Advanced is jostling the USB connection when I tested this - the problem is purely related to me picking my mouse up and down.
This device works on 3 other computers.
This device uses standard drivers supplied by windows to work.

Bottom line: I feel the USB port is not supplying sufficient power to the mouse, as the mouse draws the most power when the laser has to "focus" and this is when it fails.

Any reply would be appreciated, thank you.

Update:
Still no resolution.

Polling rate has been configured and played with; firmware has been updated.
No results.

RMA time.
My seconds Asus board, and my 2nd time with Asus failing me.
Back to Gigabyte.

Might be exceeding the power spec, but windows will pop up and tell you if that happens I think.
Windows 7 might just think it is unplugged.

This might work...

USB Power Saving Mode

If you're experiencing mouse lockups or failures, it may be because your computer is automatically turning off the power to a USB Root Hub.

Go to your Control Panel > System > Hardware tab > and click on the "Device Manager" button.
In the Device Manager window, find the item or items labeled "Universal Serial Bus controllers." Open it, and double-click the first item called "USB Root Hub."
In the USB Root Hub Properties dialog, click on the "Power Management" tab.
"Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is checked by default. Uncheck this box, and click "OK."

The mouse has 32-bit drivers for win64.. lots of complicated instructions on their forum. I would not use it, but it might control the lazers.

Also you might be able to lower the Hz of the mouse to reduce power, USB can't do what all these mice say anyway. Try 125Hz or 500Hz
