Soundboard issue

Hi all, I have what I believe is a conflict between my soundcard and the retek asus onboard sond software. Lately, in the last month, my logitech 5.1 speakers have stopped working. They will not be recognized as plugged in and no sound will come out. I have to upload my soundcard manufactures drivers then they start working again for a day or so then they stopp again and I have to do the hole thing over again. Any ideas? Rig I am using is in the signature.

Using Xonar audio card? or MB onboard audio card?
Why did you want to using the different audio card under the same system?

Please select one or the other. Either the sound card or the onboard sound. Trying to have both work at the same time will cause problems for your system.

I do use just the soundcard. Every few days the realtek/ASUS software kicks in and the speakers dont work. I install the soundcard drivers again and all is good for a few days. I just noticed that my old soundcard was in the signature. I changed it.

You need to disable your onboard sound in the BIOS.

different audio card or over a kind audio card ,maybe cause the system error detection
Or cause media player or 3rd media player software grab or control the audio device error!
