Some Overclocking Assurance

Well to begin, I've been overclocking for quite some time now. So I'm not totally new the the OC scene. My RIG before my current one consisted of a EVGA X58 SLI board with a 920. Now as you all know that didn't have an unlocked processor, so overclocking my current 3820 was a breeze since I knew fairly well how to BCLK OC.

Now the point of this thread is to just confirm with the community to see if my voltages are within a good limit so I don't see any rapid degredation.

My setup contains:
Asus Rampage IV Formula
Intel i7 3820 @ 4.625GHz
Corsair Vengeance @ 2000MHz
2 x EVGA GTX 580's 3GB @ 850MHz
Corsair AX1200
Corsair Force GT 120GB
Complete custom watercooling system

Here is a quick Voltage summary:

CPU @ 4.625

BCLK : 125MHz
VCORE : 1.36
DRAM(BOTH AB/CD) : 1.555
VCCSA : 1.185
VTT : 1.1625
2nd VTT : 1.05099
PCH(1.1) : 1.1
PCH(1.5) : 1.5
VTTDDR(BOTH AB/CD) : .8

My temps don't ever go over 67C at load and idle around 30C, but that is only because my ambient temps are around 30C.

Thanks for taking a look,
Ryan

why your VTT @1.625 and your temp look high in my opion with custom WC.
Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future.

My fault that is a typo, it's meant to read 1.16250

Your CPU temp is rather high at load after oc to me.

If load is with Prime or similar then fine.

Load is being produced by Linx, then I do a 24hr stability test with Prime.

Then that is about right the delta is normally about 35 - 40 degrees from idle.

I do have a question about the offset modes for Vcore and VCCSA. I have a good understanding of what exactly this setting is used for. It is in fact quite similar to EVGA's VDROOP control.

But I am having some trouble using it. I want to be able to use that setting instead so my voltages go down at idle, but everytime I go to change the offset of either of the voltages, I either can't get back into windows(too low of a voltage) or when I do get into windows my Vcore is all the way up to 1.5... Is there any advice on where to start? I currently have the offset at ".1" for both of them, but that isn't working at all.

Thanks,
Ryan

Any advice guys?

May I suggest you re-read RAJA's guide on using offset. It is in the maximus forum, and the prinicples do not change, nor do the settings if I recall. Once you have done that I am pretty certain you will have worked out what you are currently doing that is not giving you the outcome you want.

All I do is set my core voltage quite low for 24/7 use and then add a healthy dollop of added voltage for when I have all my threads maxing out on a 3D render say.
