This is my first custom system. I purchased the below equipment and cannot for the life of me get the system to install windows.
its setup Raid 1 (tried normal sata and no luck either) and everytime windows tries to load it gets the (BSOD) page error fault or on windows 8.1 just loads and stops. I have uefi off and cannot figure out for life of me what else to do.

I see that you're combining two kits of RAM. Have you tried removing one kit to see if the error stops? If not, please do so and report back.

I tested each ram individually and then operating system seems to load. when i introduce all 4 at once it has issue. maybe its the combination im doing? what slots should they be in ? i have 4 sticks and 8 possible slots.

There is never a 100% guarantee two separate kits will get along together even if they are identical. If you had used XMP before to setup your RAM when having installed the two kits together, try doing it manually. That way you they have a better chance of them working together.

As for the recommended memory configuration, you should be using the DIMM A1,B1,C1 and D1 slots for optimal performance. In other words, the grey ones.

Seem to have resolved it. Looks like i had to specify the memory speed @ 2400 MHZ as auto detect wasnt working for some reason.

thanks for help!
