Sleep mode issues

Bogey62

I am using BIOS 4901 on my Rampage IV Extreme mobo.

Lately, when my computer is put in sleep mode it will sometimes end in a BSOD.

Other times when the computer is set to wake from sleep mode to perform a backup or scan, it will wake up for about two minutes or so and then go right back to sleep.

I am overclocking using the predefined Gamer profile in the BIOS.

The only changes in my system since I have been noticing this issue are the flash to the 4901 BIOS and the addition of the Seasonic PSU from my older PC Power & Computing 1200 watt PSU.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Bill

By any chance, does your Windows install has hybrid sleep enabled? If so, for starters I would disable it completely.
