Serious problem w/ Raid0 on Rampage IV GENE

I tried everything I found on this forum and others. Still wouldnt work. I keep getting " "To continue installation, use the Load Driver option to install 32-bit and signed 64-bit drivers. Installing an unsigned 64-pit driver is not supported and might result in an unusa le windows installation." I even tried the thumb drive window installation. Still says that. Should I just buy a floppy drive and "makedisk" from the DVD? I mean I literally stayed up 12hrs trying to figure this out, reading forums, trying new things. I get the same message. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am not going to be reading those threads sorry mate, just not enough time in my day.

I have installed RAID so many times on so many RIVE/F/G systems and in fact the RAID set-up guide I wrote was done on a RIVG board I seem to recall.

Quick question - your OS is it Win7 SP1?

Please confirm that you are doing each of the steps that I list in this guide.

What I am trying to do here is work out what is different with your install - and that difference should indicate the fix.

What I do not understand here, is the need to install drivers? I must do at least 8 RAID OS installs a month and to date I have never once had to install drivers when using SP1.

i always need to load the intel rste ahci driver on my gene, when installing an OS to an array on the gene 6gb ports . you need to use the ahci/F6 driver when installing raid (not the scsi). i put the F6 folder from the latest rste whql release on a usb drive, and when asked for a driver, i load it. again, you don't load raid drivers, you load the F6 driver from the rste (c600 controller) package.

Same for me here on RIVE, especially on 2105 with the new 3.2.x.x RSTe Raid drivers, the Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 doesn't carry those drivers, and i have to load them as the installation ask for them. Not the 1st time it asked me either, it asked me back in april when i 1st setup the board with raid...

once i've installed the chipset drivers and lan, i install the rste package, set write back cache, and then uninstall the rste app, then install the 11.0.0.xxxx 1155 platform driver.
not too shabby for a two drive array on an x79 platform:
