Screen Flicker

oletex
Level 7
Running the Max VII (Z97) MB / Gen5 I7 cpu, full Dominator / Evga GTX780 .. Samsung SSD (C), 3 - Seagate - 1TB, (D,E,F) 1 -LG DVD/CD. Win7 - 64(SP1).. (Windows Classic (blue) desktop, 3 - LG 27inch LCD screens , 1-HDMI, 1 DP, 1 DVI.

Everything runs just fine up to a week ago.. now a "screen flicker" has started.. typing a email or password.. will loose the tab or box .. trying to play a game or watch a video is impossible.. drops back to main desktop or where ever.. reloaded GPU drivers, 3 - times, unloaded AI Suites.. 2 times.. Checked all connections.

Even in Safe mode the flicker is apparent. same using Win basic driver..

I suspect either the PSU or GPU may be the issue..

Get a Violation (DIP4 code error) will fix this later today downloaded the AISuites cleaner.. before

I go spending serious cash on new PSU or even 2 GPU (thinking to put in 2 - EVGA GeForce GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0+, (KR), and even pulling the PSU for the EVGA Supernova P2 80 Plus Platinum Rated 1600-Watt)

Any suggestions?

Have you tried pulling the video card and using the onboard video?

Have you tried switching out your DVI or HDMI cable?
