Greets all. New to the forum. Having some problems with my 3 month old motherboard. After installing it I was experiencing random locks. By lock I mean everything locked and froze. No ctrl alt del response. Had to do a cold reboot. Problem got worse 2 days ago then the system would not boot. Bios would not come up, just the post screen. After finally getting into the bios I discovered that Sata ports 1 and 3 are showing not present. I have checked the cables and power to the drives and everything looks good. Swapped out the cables still no luck. Everything that plugs into those ports are shown as not present. Any ideas on how to fix it before I RMA the board?

Hi c2usaf2004@gmail.com and Welcome to ROG
Have you checked your SATA config in Bios to see if they are enabled. Go to Advanced Mode>SATA Configuration.
If recognized and enabled and still no go then udate Bios and if still no go then RMA.

Sata config is setup properly. Bios is the most up to date version.
