Hello everybody!

Has anyone bought and installed a DC chip, such as 4790K on his TuF motherboard?

If yes how was the update to the latest BIOS performed (2004)? Through the BIOS using the EZ update tool? Or through Windows using the BIOS updater tool?

Does the update method play any role?

Thank you for the reply.

The thing is that I updated already using the method within the BIOS (EZ update). Everything went fine. Board is solid. The 4790K is on the way. Should I reflash using the updater within Windows or is it OK the way I did?

Yes.

Thank you.I will do this.The asus sabertooth drivers and downloads list in the chipset section has two MEI Driver versions but not the one from the link with the instructions you posted.

Which one should i install?
