Sabertooth 990FX Won't boot

Froglips
Level 7
OK. Finally got back from a series of long business trips and wanted to update to latest BIOS.

As per instructions I removed 3 of my 4 RAM sticks. Swapped out the 720 and installed the 945. I rebooted and all was OK. Finally, I turned off core unlocking. I saved and rebooted. Fans spin for perhaps 3 seconds and board shuts down.

Now what? Sheesh. Never easy:( Reset CMOS. PC boots. Go into BIOS. Everything looks happy and good. Save and restart. No boot disk!? Huh?

I boot from a RAID 0 array. The BIOS update porked this?? Anyway, reloading Windows and reconfiguring my PC after every BIOS update will surely make my hate this board with a passion. Suggestions?

Raja, help!

Make sure that the drives (the ports they are connected to) are still set to RAID and that the RAID controller is enabled. It should be able to detect the existing array but only if the settings are the same as they were before you started.
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station…

Drives were set to RAID but with the new BIOS somehow were on the UEFI as default instead of legacy ROM. I missed that. Thanks for the suggestion!
