Hello everyone im seeking some advice before i go insane. This is my first complete Build.
My set up
Sabertooth 990FX R 2.0
Cpu AMD FX9590
Psu Corsair CX 750M
Fan Corsair H75
Graphics Card ASUS Geforce GTX 760
Ram Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 Mhz CL9 XMP Performance
Hard Drive WD SATA 1TB
The problem im having is it will not boot at first it would be on a few seconds the turn off pressed the Memok. * the red light stays on after this now ) Now will stay on, But no screen or keyboard
Tried moving the ram to different slots, and even using one ram and moving that still no joy.
Tried a older Amd cpu still no joy.
Tried removing the Hard drive to see if it will boot No joy.

Now im at a loss of what to do, Even took it to a pc shop and they said its set up correctly and they couldn't figure out why it wont boot.
any help will be greatly received
Thank you in advance

Hi Saphiire and Welcome to ROG.

The latest correct Bios for your MB is 2501, Should you decide to update,This is not without risk, however as you have probably tried clearing your CMOS with no joy it would be a good idea, and you have nothing to loose if you cannot post.
For help with the best method to update your Bios just ask.

Should you have no joy, then you will have to follow the dreaded FF procedure, to determine which of your system components are at fault.
Look Here: http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?49917-Crosshair-V-Formula-Z-and-FF-error&highlight=dreaded
It is very often necessary to remove your MB from your case to eliminate problems with your case and as you see your problem can be one of many things.
Please report back and good luck.;)

Edit: Just noticed too that you are using the Corsair H75 cooler and this may also be a problem.
The FX-9590 has a 220TDP Draw and gets hot fast, you may have to upgrade if you want the full potential of your CPU.

Well thats interesting and under supported CPUs it says 1708, I'm confused, If indeed 2501 is not the correct Bios for the Sabertooth 990FX R2.
Your link was to a Polish ASUS support site!!

Maybe you can shed some light on why 2501 is not supported and where to obtain 1708.

Cos was 2501 for 8000 series after when relase 9000 series they relase bios 1709 for it. I think is was issue with cpu profile like is in crosshair IV then they relase bios 1708 wich jump multipler and voltage on core.

Thank you for the kind welcome:D
im going to try updating the Bios via the USB method. unsure which version to use now seeing as some difference between both reply's
Tested the PSU working fine.
Tested the Graphics Card working fine.
Tested the Ram working fine.
Cannot test the CPU in the old pc as its a intel socket and new one is AMD socket.
But this new build wont even boot with a older AMD CPU 😕
Feeling like a right NOOB at this present time.
