ROG Strix B350-F Gaming, Orange Light?

So I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what the orange light on the motherboard is supposed to tell us?

Initially, when I first breadboarded it to test the hardware it was fine and posted on the first try. But it would stay at that orange light. When I installed everything in the case it booted up fine and I updated the BIOS to 0809 and installed Windows. But this whole time its been at that orange light and hasn't changed to green. Worked for a solid day playing a few games until one evening I tried starting up AoE III: Asian Dynasties and the computer just shut down. Ever since then it hasn't turned on. When it's plugged into the PSU the motherboard light is orange and the mobo leds are glowing. But if I press the power button it tries to boot up for a split second and shuts off, after that the power button becomes unresponsive until I reconnect the power and just does the same thing.

I've already reseated everything. Tried one stick of RAM. Unplugged all the cables and plugged them back in. Did the CMOS battery reset. It doesn't do any beeps, I can't even get to the BIOS screen. I feel like that orange light will tell me what exactly might be dead with it or if the mobo was messed up to begin with. All it mentions of the orange light in the manual is that it will turn to green if its plugged into a monitor on power standby mode. If there's any other steps or tips I can do to solve this that would be amazing. I gotta send back whatevers dead to get replaced asap.

If you are talking about the orange LED in the bottom right of the board this is simply to indicate that the board is receiving power its not an indication of an error

Yes I'm referring to the orange LED near the bottom right of the mobo. I did a paper clip test on the PSU and it's definitely dead so I'm getting that RMA'd. But now I'm just hoping that my motherboard isn't messed up and it was just my PSU. I don't have another PSU that I can test the hardware with so I might have to take it to a shop before their warranties run out.

Another question does this motherboard come with those onboard speakers or do I need to buy some in order to hear the beeps? I haven't heard anything the few times I've booted up before it died.

I thought the orange light is the indication that there's no onboard GPU. (it should turn green or off if u use the A series APUs). B350 really does has this sudden-death issue. I also have returned 1 mobo due to the exactly similar issue.

this motherboard does not have any onboard speaker nor they didn't provide one to plug-in to the front panel connectors. if you have any speakers lying around, u can try connecting to the speaker + and - nodes on the motherboard.

well if you are looking for the post code beep, asus uses a set of led's close to the cpu for that. the color chages from green,white and orange. depending on how the led is lid and if its constant or flashing, you can tell whats wrong with the board. there is an other led close to the connections for your reset switch, hd led, power on switch etc. this is only there for, to show you that there is still power onboard. like in the old days the solid green asus led, telling you not to remove or add any part to your board. only when the ps is discon. it will turn of after a while and then its safe to change parts on your mb.

You are thinking of the 4 LEDs at the top right of the board next to the ram slots that indicate the error state or graphics card/ ram / cpu / storage

Hi, I'm asking you a question. Is it normal to turn off the PC that light bulb that you indicate stays on? Or when shutting down the PC is supposed to turn off? Thank you for your time.
