ROG STRIX B350-F GAMING issues

Hello,

Anyone experienced the following with the mentioned board:

After 6/10 system starts my system don't see the LAN adapter or my mouse at all. I need to restart the system or replug my mouse to solve the issue. I've experienced the mouse connection issue within UEFI too. Furthermore I experiencing further annoying problems, such as random video signal loose (especially when I start a fan calibration within AISuite 3). After that, I can only revive my system with a hardreset.

I tried to reinstall windows/nvidia driver/chipset driver, etc. And of course, I have the latest BIOS version.

Now, I sent back the board to the vendor, because ASUS Support advised that. They will revise it. I hope soo, that they won't evalute that it's just a SW related issue...

With BIOS 4024 i`m stable now. I gave the FlareX to my wife and use GSkill Aegis 3000MHz with D.O.C.P. standard.

Is anyone else having issues with the sound drivers? Back when they came out they would often randomly pop up saying a restart is needed but that stopped for some time, however recently mine has started it again and then i noticed that a crash dump file was being copied to the clipboard as if something was crashing and after a little investigation i found it was a nahamic component that's part of the asus sound drivers and looking at the task manager i could see it stat and stop constantly and each time causing massive cpu spikes, i uninstalled and did a driver clean and reinstalled and the same behaviour, i eventually disabled the service and all seems to work ok but its an odd one and i was wondering if others are having the same issues.

Same thing with the restart needed popping up for 2-3 days happened to me when I first installed these drivers but then stopped and everything was fine until a few weeks ago when utorrent was taking a few minutes to start (and it`s not an exaggeration) and after googleing a bit found out that the culprit was that same nahimic service and after disableing it everything went back to normal again...

...maybe you had a windows update which reset your drivers somehow and that brought back the restart needed message...

As a side note I`m now running the ver. 6.0.1.8496 Audio driver from Strix Z390-E...will update if any issues appear...

It looks like AGESA 1.0.0.6 is rolling out for other motherboard manufacturers which allows for much better RAM compatibility and enhanced overclocking/system stability and performance in general. We are still stuck on 1.0.0.2 while other manufacturers have been on 1.0.0.4c for a long time now. No word from Asus on an update and we have missed several in the past which has others experiencing a lot less issues and having better performance and compatibility than us. I haven't been able to run my RAM at the rated speed since I purchased this motherboard while others with the same RAM kit and different motherboards (not from ASUS) have been able to for a long time.

I hope someone from Asus is reading this and understands that the ROG STRIX brand is being dragged through the mud in the enthusiast community. I bought a ROG STRIX for quality build AND support while the support is almost non-existent. Also, yes, I have contacted Asus support which has given me the typical "we are working on it" runaround while waiting for the 1.0.0.4 update which never came and then again for the 1.0.0.6 update which again we have absolutely no word on as it is being rolled out as we speak to non Asus boards.

Please Asus, give us AGESA 1.0.0.6!!!!

Anyone else upset over this issue?

Yes. Who can we complain to that will actually listen?

Here's something a little confusing to me though: If you scroll back through the BIOS release notes, you get the following:

Version 0805 2017/06/27
ROG STRIX B350-F GAMING BIOS 0805
Update AGESA to 1.0.0.6a

and then, more recently:

Version 4009 2018/04/17
ROG STRIX B350-F GAMING BIOS 4009
Update AGESA 1002a

So, what's up with that? Is the 1.0.0.2 from v4009 somehow newer than the 1.0.0.6 from v0805? Or did we actually go backwards, somehow?

Its funny you should say that, 0805 is the best memory stability i ever had and my memory is 3000 and i could get 3000mhz on 0805 but everything since then i would get blue screens and had to drop back to i think 2866, and oddly if i now go back to 0805 i no longer get the same stability, I really wonder if they could not get the 1006 agesa to work right so said frak it and then dropped back.

Hello, I am here to know why my fans are 100% CPU free and without CPU usage?
But sometimes it slows down even with 100% CPU usage but after the use is at 10% it accelerates?
Because??
