ROG STRIX B350-F GAMING issues

Hello,

Anyone experienced the following with the mentioned board:

After 6/10 system starts my system don't see the LAN adapter or my mouse at all. I need to restart the system or replug my mouse to solve the issue. I've experienced the mouse connection issue within UEFI too. Furthermore I experiencing further annoying problems, such as random video signal loose (especially when I start a fan calibration within AISuite 3). After that, I can only revive my system with a hardreset.

I tried to reinstall windows/nvidia driver/chipset driver, etc. And of course, I have the latest BIOS version.

Now, I sent back the board to the vendor, because ASUS Support advised that. They will revise it. I hope soo, that they won't evalute that it's just a SW related issue...

Actualiy i`m testing the 5214 beta bios with AGESA 1.0.0.3ABB.
No issues so far.
Should be released in the next days.

Is this still happening or skipped because of the boost fixed that is supposed to be released on Sept 10? I am more concerned about the voltage fix rather than the boost fix for zen 2 to be honest.

AMD wil present the fix on Sep. 10. Than it goes to the boardpartner. And than u can wait until ASUS integrate and release it 😄

Edit: I switched from B350-f gaming to MSI X570 Gaming plus. With the ASUS max singlecoreboost 4125MHz, on the MSI 4200MHz

Awesome but I can't imagen that 75MHz switch was worth 180 bucks or the hassle of a clean install, when i manually OCed my 3600 to all core 4200 there was absolutely no noticeable performance difference over 4100, the only place that it showed was in benchmark programs and it was only ever so slight.

It`s not for 75Mhz 😄
In the next weeks i go for a 3900x and i dont think that the B350-f gaming ist a good partner for this cpu.

Ahh ok that makes sense was thinking it was just for the 3600, but yeh the 350 power delivery would probably struggle with the 3900x

I have a problem with the detection of PCIexpress gpu (i have ryzen 3 2200g and the last BIOS).
I tried 2 cards (an old gt710 and a 1050ti) and both are not detected in the bios (i have to connect the video cable to the motherboard hdmi, otherwise i get a black screen).
The strange thing is that if i exit the bios and go to windows 10, the external video card is detected by windows and works fine... so the problem is just in the bios.
Actually i am using the 1050ti, i boot with black screen, and when windows 10 loads, the screen start to work.
If i need to get in the bios though, I have to connect the video cable to the motherboard hdmi...

very strange issue

While I do not have a chip with graphics on board to test, but from what i have read you have to ether disable the the on board graphics or change the external gpu to the default, this might also explain why the card does not show up under active devices in the bios, as for windows it is capable of using both regardless and it will simply use what ever it detects a monitor signal from, the bios however cant do this and relies on the monitor being connected to what ever GPU is the active/ default.
