Is there a way to get the ramdisk to backup/redo the rogdisk0.img it created every time i shut down? i looked in taskmanager and didnt see anything also in the programfiles folder. I was the utility to load the image but no backup. I know if you open the program you can sync whenever but i am looking for something more automatic.

The image in Program Files(x86)\ASUS\ROG RAMDisk is there for speedy loading into RAM when Windows next starts - all in one and in my case on the SSD.

ROG RAMDisk creates a backup of any folder linked by a junction point it creates. The backup is located right beside the original folder. If you aren't using a junction point, and I sometimes don't, the image file is the only permanent record.

I hope I understand the question and this addresses it.

Yes the all in one image. Is it using Windows backup or something in the Asus program. If win backup I can make a batch file and have it backup every hour. If something in Asus.....that's what I am trying to find.

I used Rog Ramdisc only once, but if I recall correctly, the information remains after reboot.
Why complicate things?
Create the RAM disk.
Move what you need onto it.
Enjoy.

Yes but sometimes when testing an OC or running unstable software bsod/crash. I use the ramdisk a a transfer/temp storage/download location. An b/c its volatile when crash everything is gone. I don't like the backup/sync built into ramdisk b/c I don't want something permanent. Basically I want the fast speeds of the ramdisk but be able to keep the info through a bsod. So if I backup once per hour it would be fast storage and fault tolerant.

The ramdisk runs a backup on PC shutdown to make an image in the ramdisk install folder but I cannot find any task that dies this. Nor did I find anything in the registry under current user or local machine.
