Any news on a ROG Maximus extreme z77 board? im planning an ivybridge build and would like to use a z77 chipset board
preferably a ROG one.

Ive tried googling but not had much luck on this one 😞

I would also be interested in this - I was originally going to wait for an ivybridge cpu to be released and I really liked the look of the Maximus extreme 4 boards so thought there may have been a new board in the pipeline but couldnt find anything (mid december) just decided to go for an i7 and the Maximus extreme 4 lol
i7-2700K @ 1.33v 4.6ghz/ Asus Maximus Extreme IV-Z
Nzxt Phantom + Nzxt Havik 140
His IceQ7950 3G/Corsair VX550
Finally Updated to Windows 7! :cool:

According to this http://www.techpowerup.com/161763/ASUS-Teases-with-ROG-Maximus-V.html there may be all three variants which include the Extreme, Formula, and Gene. Sadly this was the only thing that I could find on the Extreme variant.

From what I can see of the Formula, I don't know what else Asus can improove to make an Extreme, this Formula is Extreme Grade ...this is by far the BEST of the BEST

As soon as Intel official launch of the CPU's happen the boards will be in store I shall find out for you.

So it will not be like AMD dozer crap last year, boards will not be on sale before the launch of the CPU ?

( every day I ear story of peoples who have problem with their new AM3+ board because the BIOS don't support Dozer, this was and still a big mistake from AMD and motherboard manufactuers)
