RIVEBE Tri SLI

Having an issue with tri sli on a IV BE…

I've actually got 4 cards sitting on the board, 4th disabled. During boot it'll end up with 1/2/4 on even though 4 is disabled.

Once on desktop all 3 are recognised but when sli is enabled only the 1st two end up in sli. All 3 show up if i render test the 1st two, only the 3rd when testing the 3rd. 3rd also running at 1.1, 1&2 3.0.

I've also pulled the 4th card and it's the same in desktop, only difference is the lane lights are now correct, i.e, 1/2/3.

Cable is DP on 1st gpu.

Driver re-installed. (337.5)

EDIT: Quad no problem, all 4 enabled.

Crumbs ....both BIOS?

I would download a fresh file and reflash....

After scouring the pendrive manually with diskpart...

Flipped bios, no difference.

All the GPUs have same BIOS?....not sure that should make a difference but....

lol, yes.

Again, no issue with all 4 running. 😉

Edit: no issue with x2 either so no problem with the lanes, just when tri. Only other thing i can think of is doing it all over again but doing 1/4/2 instead of 1/2/4 for install/boot.

Pixies...it's malevolent pixies!....LOL I dunno...weird...any combo of cards in tri but all ok in quad? got to be BIOS right......or pixies...or

Which driver...have you tried older version? Like 331.82?

Driver didn't make a difference.

What has done though….

3 flexi connectors. 1-2, 1-3 & 2-3. Most peculiar.

Anyway, time to get benching!

Eh? That's how you're supposed to do it...right?

Damn, i thought you just had to bridge them, just the same as x2. Quad was just one link between cards…

Ah well, schooled. 🙂
