RIVE loud beep during POST after updating BIOS 4004

Everything works fine other than this louder than normal beep I hear every time it POST. Is this normal for BIOS 4004?

Seems only doing it during warm boot, cold boot is fine.

Not tried the new bios yet. Still on the 3 series. Will check it out.

I got that loud beep as well. But after I reset all my bios settings & did a reboot with a power down it stopped. I now get the normal beep, where you would press delete to enter the bios.

I got the long beep the first time around as well, but the second time it was the normal one as well. Anyone here with Windows 8 installed notice that it takes longer to allow you for your password in order to get to the start screen?

You didn't add one when you built your PC.

And no beeps here. Works fine so far.

Completed my testing, nothing odd or unexpected on my test system. BIOS seems stable and clocks the same for me.

When I put a buzzer onto the speaker get the same beep I would expect. But that might be because the system had cycled a few times before I remembered to connect a speaker. 🙂

I confirm the problem. I did this by pressing the DEL key to enter the BIOS and after saving the bios and Restarted.

Is this normal? I also noticed that moving the keyboard in the bios is much slower. Return to the previous bios.
