Good afternoon,

I would like to know if a BIOS update will be released for the z370 / z380 motherboards with RESIZE BAR option?

Thanks
greetings

nope, and beta bios seems to be the final bios for z390 asus.

Z390-E does anyone have a weird bug turning primary display in BIOS from CPU to PCI-E breaks stuff?

I have one issue after i update to the beta bios of MAXIMUS XI HERO(WI-FI).

After enable Resizeable BAR in BIOS and i have windows version 20H2 installed, my PC always takes very long time to boot and run into a BSOD with exception code "BOOT_DEVICE_NOT_ACCESSIBLE" and cannot boot into system.

I tried all the option i changed and i found the problem is if i enable Intel VMX function, my PC won't boot up. After i disable VMX, my still takes long time to boot compare to previous 1802 bios.
But after boot up my PC, disk management indicate my KC1000 ssd(which is where my OS installed), have two duplicate ssd with 0kb volume, and told me to choose a partition table for these two "new ssd"s.

One day, i decide to ask customer service if they have any solution. I mentioned if there's no way to solve this, can i rollback? and the whole reply is just tell me how to rollback and still the beta bios problem is still there.

Just wonder if anyone have same issue as mine and hope have a solution for this. If not then i will just wait for the non-beta version bios release.

interesting that on prime z370-a the version went from beta 3003 to beta 3001 .. no change in date -- i have no intention of installing a beta with the possibility of damaging a 1200$ graphics card

BIOS update support for Maximus Z390 boards end at the end of October. So, they will most likely release one more BIOS update.

it seems all of our hope for non beta bios is depending on the final. how iornoic .

They finally release non-beta version for M11H, gonna try it out.

Well, they still not fix the issue i mentioned, i suspect the main issue is my KC1000 firmware have some kind of bug that will make BIOS and windows confuse and eventually make my PC unable to boot. But looks like KC1000 is already EOL, so i think there no hope for new firmware to fix this issue.
And the reason i suspect this is because my Corsair MP510 installed don't have this kind of issue after i update the BIOS. Neither do SATA HDD/SSD have.

I really hope someone or ASUS can know and have a fix for this, otherwise i cannot enable VMX and/or Resizeable BAR.
If not, maybe i will buy a new ssd or motherboard and CPU.

For some reason ROG MAXIMUS XI EXTREME beta bios was removed from the site. Hope the official bios is releasing soon 😕
