bought a brand new Maximus VII Hero Z97 wich came with 0401 bios, able to boot and test at x47 and 2800mhz ram, after updating to the latest bios i was unable to post at even x45 and no go with 2400mhz for the ram, went back to the stock bios, and waiting for a properly working bios.

Yea its same for me with my 4770k, i was able to post at x46 and now only x44, keeping the same voltage. Unfortunately I had to update the BIOS because of the ROG Front base.. Hope the new version will be out soon.

oh!!! this too!!! i wanted to get the rog panel... didn't know that the bios update must be done... then i'll really wait for a correct working bios wich will allow me to post x47 and ddr 2666+ with the rog front panel... let's keep in touch!

The next updates for M7 will be 06** series. They will be posted on the support page when they are ready to go live to public.
