The board is spot on now mate, as I said all my photography software is like lightning, and apart from the code 30 staying on when I exit sleep mode, the 1707 BIOS has fixed all my problems (juddering aside).
I guess the thread title was a little harsh, it was more a case of getting fed up with formatting and trying new BIOS revsions only to find a different problem.
One last question before the thread is closed, which chipset is the latest one for this board, I have the one from the ASUS website V9.3.0.1021, this confused me a bit because in my system settings it mentions a "xeon (R) processor E3-1200 v2/3rd Gen Core processor DRAM controller -0150 and PCI express Root port -0151.
One last note about the Rampage Formula, I would still be using it now if I could have bought DDR2 memory for it, another 4 gig was going to set me back £140 and even then it might not have been compatable with my original 4 gig as the revision numbers might have been different.
Closed ?? No Way bro. What if there is a question .. later ?
The 'new' thread I suggested was to bring the 'subject' to
the top of the 'new posts' as A focused issue, which is what
you are working on now. 'RubberBanding'. Fascinating.
This way members, non members, but may be users,
and some researching becoming a user, searching the forum, can come up with answers
that brought them/us/we here in the first place quicker.imo
And from the original post, for the most part, the answer is bios1707.ty.Shamino.
Changing the title is more fitting and proper, since you no longer feel that way.
How it was [Solved] then follows .. And .. You are a Rampager Maximus Now !!!
Tell it.
I, personally, am now more curious about the New, but seen more and more 'inside' threads,
the definitive answers to 'juddering'/'rubberBanding' and related issues/discussion
in addition to this Great Thread.
Sounds like old fashioned throttling. Maybe with a new twist. A wave across the users ???
The strain on networks must be phenominal. but. There must be an explaination and
possible solution along the way.
imho. The forum isnt only about 'how' ROGstuff works, it is more 'why' it works so well.

btw... The original title as written was spot on @ the time. It was your honest position.
duly respected goodSir.
