Red light

So I just built my first rig and this light stays  on what is this light? And does something have to get connected to it? I have a amd x870e crosshairs hero.

This is due to the additional EPS 8-pin connector not being connected for Quick Charge 4+.

Thank you! So it’s not needed? It’s fine if it stays red like this while off and on?

It's not essential, no. Only if you need Quick Charge features. The light can only be turned off with the EPS cable connected.
