Rampage IV Formula Issue. Please help (Code AA with no bios/os displayed)

Hello,

I booted from a cold start and no BIOS or OS displayed and the debug code said AE (Legacy boot event). I restarted my PC to see if it was just a glitch and now it posts a code of AA. No BIOS is displayed whatsoever during boot up and I tried re-flashing the bios with the 1005 version from a flash drive and still no dice.

Can anyone help me out on this one?

Try power-off, press the BIOS switch button once, press the reset CMOS button on the back panel and then power-on.

Are you getting in to OS?

AA indicates a success boot and system turn over to OS. I suspect a video issue. Card, cable, monitor?

Cable not connected to the graphic card, I did that the other night while benching. Could not figure out what was going on. My 7 year old pointed it out to me.

So maybe it is in this instance too.
