Rampage IV Extreme Won't Downclock 3930K

Hi there I'm running my 3930K in a R4E and it will down clock to 12x only when safe defaults or optimized defaults are loaded and I don't change anything. But as soon as I click xmp or enter my 2133 ram settings manually it doesn't down clock no more. Does anybody know whats going on. Thanks

go into bios- cpu config - set all cstates and c1E to enabled

Also, what BIOS revision are you running?

Overclocking is useless to me if it is not rock stable.

Have you by any chance changed your power setting's in OS? If not then may I suggest that you try enabling the power saving option. I can not help wonder if your problem is caused by the power plan you have selected. I will check back in a little while to see if you have had any success.
