Rampage IV Extreme Upgrade to Rampage IV Black Edition... Done!

I just did the board swap from my ol faithful RIVE to a nice shiny new Black Edition.

Everything went flawlessly! 4960X @ 4.6Ghz using the same setting as the old board.

All my devices worked and I didnt need to install anything to get going back into Windows 8.1 64bit Pro.

There's 2 "Other Devices" in device manager I need to load drivers for, but other than that, even the 4way SLI VGA Hotwire on the OC panel worked out of the box.

Out with the old!

Looks like one of them is the Broadcom bluetooth and the other is Sata interface.

Intel of Borg, nice set up, you shouldn't expect any problems with this upgrade, and with your setup would not have been pretty if you had.
Can you tell me how you have those Sandisk drives connect? they are pcie interface drives correct

They are just sata 6G SSD's in caddies that can pop them out of the back of the case through the pci slot.

Thanks for the nice comments guys!

Yes the cube has assimilated another new piece of technology! 😉

I have a question for anyone that has used OC Panel before, specifically for VGA Hotwire.

Is there any way to store voltage offset for the VGA hotwire so I dont have to enter it after every cold reboot?
On the RIVE you could just set it in bios and it would start up with your preferred settings.

You've seen the difference between R4E and R4BE point of view of the OC, or other?

Thanks
Sorry for my english 😄
