Someone please try it and let me know if it's functional and if indeed the newer RAID ROM shows up... The only reason i wont test it on my own board is because I hate redoing all my BIOS settings:p *Lazy, I know*

That ROM is not for the X79 Chipset boards... 😞

Looks like they have implemented a "security feature" in the latest 2003 BIOS... I tried to load my 2003 Modded BIOS file and i got a message that said "FAILED SECURITY VERIFICATION" ... i can only assume that this a new feature that will keep us from modding the BIOS...

Maybe the utility does a checksum or hash check on the file itself... so if it has been modified in any way.. it wont accept it.

Would you please share idea to Shamino about Intel RAID ROM version: 3.1.0.2101 update for better performance?
Your 1404 MOD with Intel RAID ROM perform the best Bolt4Breakfast. Maybe you can ask him to avoid security code check for next Mod BIOS.
