Where is JJ? He said it is thinking about on Youtube Channel.The Black Edition was the best Motherboard ever.
I do not understand why it is not a separate product line" Black Edition"

Good man!! only a couple more weeks now :cool: i'm still deciding on whether I wanna put it on my scratch build test bench, or build an entirely new system with it lol

For me this board is worth it, and I will be getting two. It is worth it to me because I bench LN2. I want two simply so that after a long session I can swap out the wet board for the next one and carry on. The only time I kill boards is when I push one board to hard for to long, that is more than 12 hours at a time.

Is this board for everyone, hell no. But then the original RIVE board was not either. There are boards that will allow a solid OC on air, and play each and every game at the max settings video card and screen size dependant, some of those boards will cost a whole heap less than this board.

But this is the RIVE BE. Nothing more needs be said.

Looks really good, but there are a number of shortcomings and 2 very serious : 1) ****ty , lousy Realtek, but when the Lord will again SoundMAX and a discrete sound card ? for such costs could be , and finally do; 2) why one network connector? In a series Striker Extreme (I, II) were 2 Lan, why now all one , why do so many USB 2 ?; 3) Do have 12 ports Sata, enough to be greedy; 4) Not bad, it would again see a small display for POST Cod and Time both the Striker Extreme, only this time on the motherboard itself; 5) compose the normal PCI-E slots, the top , lower down on the memory slots, so you can establish normal cooling for the CPU.

too bad Asus doesn't have a step up program for R4E folks to STEP UP to the R4E BE. would be a nice trade up. :cool:

Why? RIV BE is a new revision of old board, not exactly step up. But they could offer price reduction for these who are upgrading from older Asus board.

I hope it will be read at least one representative from Asus and maybe someday will carry it to the managers, marketers and engineer. Enough to produce high-end motherboard with Realtek on board, return the discrete sound cards or striker series. Many are waiting for this, and for quite a long time. Realtek is the worst thing that happened to the sound of computer technology in history. R4E BE is the same eggs only in new packaging unfortunately.
