Ram compatibility question

Hey guy's. I have bought an asus crosshair 4 formula mobo with amd phenom ii x4 965 BE. And I,m now left with what ram to get. Is corsair Vengeance series ram compatible with this mobo and the cpu.? I'm after the dual channel 8gb kit-2x4gb. And maybe planning an upgrade of 16Gb in the future.

Obviously the most sure fire way is to ensure that a particular module is on the compatibility list but most good quality modules will work anyway. FWIW, I have had my Corsair 2x4 kit in a couple of boards now and never had a problem. Neither one was your specific setup though.
