RAID 1 on SabertoothZ77 & Win8

I've just added a RAID 1 array on 2 identical 2TB Seagate Hard Drives, and after booting up or a restart the RAID options appear every time. Is this typical? If so, is there a way to bypass that screen? Is it also typical that in Windows you only see one of the RAID drives and not both? These aren't my boot drives, but storage drives.

That is the joy of RAID.

Use sleep and not power down to resolve the slow boot. I have not powered down in nearly 3 months now.

That doesn't really resolve the problem of the RAID screen if you aren't rebooting. I don't reboot very often myself, but when I do I want it to be as quick as possible. I don't see why that screen can't be turned off using the Intel Rapid Storage Technology program or something.

It will show each and every time sadly.
