Hi all - any idea whether booting from the Intel RAID controller will slow boot speeds down? Basically I've seen a Samsung 840 Evo for a very good price and am tempted to swap my aging Corsair for it... Only issue is my old Gigabyte mobo took a fair hit to post time initialising the controller. Any idea whether I'll see the same thing here? (that was running hdds so the overall improvement in boot time was worth it).
