R3E 24 pin bad connection will not post

I have this R3E and it has been giving me troubles. The 24 pin is shorting. I have tested the psu on 2 other boards and have tested the board with 2 other psu's and come to the conclusion that there is some thing wrong with the 24 pin connector on the board its self. If I press on the side of the connector the system will post but if I do not press on it it will not post. Is the premium or advanced RMA service available with this board ?

This would be my first ever rma. What would be my next cores of action? Who do I speak to next to get this rma going in the right direction?

I placed an rma today and should be hearing back in 2 days. Its Friday now so I'm thinking it will be next week on Monday or Tuesday before I hear back but the rma has been accepted and is now in the works.
My next question is a bit harder. I do not have a credit card but my wife has one. Will it be ok since I have her permission to give that info for the rma? It is the same card that was used to buy the board from microcenter.

I'm not sure. You'd probably have to call customer support to ensure that you can use different billing information than the shipping info. Or you could just set up the whole RMA under her name and avoid any problems.

I have already started the rma and it has been excepted. I will see how it goes and make changes accordingly. If all goes well I should have the new board by Wednesday. Asus customer support is top notch. This is why I only buy Asus. These are the boards I currently own 1x P6T Deluxe, 1x P6 X58D, 2x Rampage 2 Extremes and 2x Rampage 3 Extremes. There is no question that the next board I own will be a Asus ROG of some type. :cool:
