R IV E Delivered Today - Missing Parts?

Just received my Rampage IV Extreme LGA 2011 and just wondered if it's normal for the 4-Way and 3-Way SLI bridge to not be in a bag each? Also I didn't get any VGA Hotwire Cables.. bought new from NewEgg and just worry I may have received a returned item that's missing parts?

That's the style of NewEgg, you got it it's a return. Call them and ask a pre-paid return label, and insist to not have return fees. Don’t keep it, you don’t know what the guy do with it, it’s may be also an RMA, they restock their RMA.

Go also complain on their forum. It's not acceptable.

What happened to the reply?

Was it correct, should I return to NewEgg?

I've had 3 RIVE mobos pass through my hand, and I can comment only on what my packages contained.

The SLI bridges DID come in individual plastic bags. However, I can see that packaging possibly changing as the individual packing didn't really provide any benefit.

There are no VGA Hotwire Cables. There SHOULD BE a small plastic bag or ROG Probe It leads. These are short leads meant to easily connect a voltage multimeter. Do you have that small bag of Probe It leads?

I suggest you check out a few of the Rampage IV Extreme reviews and take a look at the packaging review. You can see everything you should have there.

These should of been in there 🙂

Did you open the OTHER box inside the box?
i7-3930K; Asus RIVE; G.SKILL Ripjaws Z 4x4GB DDR3 1866; MSI 7870 2GD5/OC; Crucial M4 SSD 256GB;
Corsair 1000HX; Corsair H100, 4x Excalibur 120mm PWM CPU Fan p-p, AS5; SB X-Fi Titanium Fata1ity Pro;
Dell U2412m IPS 1920x1200; Cooler Master HAF 932 case; Tripp-Lite OMNIVS1500 UPS fully Line-interactive.
(EVGA site: ) And I have a second (wife's) computer, Eve.

Overclocking is useless to me if it is not rock stable.

Yup, probe leads are there, all the items in that picture plus the crossfire cable and 4 packs of SATA cables.

The initial reply, that was deleted said it sounded like a return and that I shouldn't keep it.

And yes, all boxes opened 😛

Because I misread and I tough the 3 and 4 way SLI bridge was not in the box.

Wasn't telling tales Area 66, just made me nervous after spending all that cash on the board.. and Newegg Live Chat only made matters worse 😮
