hi im new to the forum.

the rive is my 1st rampage mb.

as i'm getting 2 titan i'm confused which slots do i put them in. the 1st and the 4th?

In the manual it suggests that you use slot number 1 and slot 4 as you correctly stated.

Yeah, the manual is not crystal clear....since it names slot 4 as slot 3 when it wants to since 2 is divided into A and B.

First and third RED slot...or first and fourth PCIe slot.

I have that same Titan SLI and RIVE combo...you are going to enjoy it! 😉

Hello also check your bios version to make sure you have full support for PCIe 3.0 and that the slot are enable to gen 3 in the UEFI/Bios. I'm not sure anything takes full advantage of PCIe 3.0 yet but hey every little bit helps and 2 Titans out to be a beast!!!! Congrats!!!
