Problems Booting Asus Maximus VII Hero

Good Morning,

Well I bought the asus maximus Hero the other day, installed the mobo, installed the CPU and GPU's and now cannot get it to boot to BIOS for first time.

The system has the following:
Intel Core i7 4770k,
ADATA XPG V1 AX3U2133W8G10-DR 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3
2 x Sapphire R9 290 GPU's,
2 x Kingston 256GB SSD, and
WD Black Caviar 4 TB Hard Drive.

I start the PC and the LED cycles through numerous codes, the Mem OK button lights up as if it is trying to tune the RAM, the CPU and VGA red LED lights light up in sequence and after leaving it for some time (about 30mins)the Error code comes up with 78.

I have removed the CPU, checked pins, reinstalled and seated the CPU correctly, removed GPU's and started, Cleared CMOS and so on and it still does the same.

I have read the manual and it says that the error code 78 ACPI failed to initialise

Please help so that I can actually get into the BIOS.

I got this code 78 error for a couple of hours ago when i got my new board be cause as usual you "have" do a bios upgrade 😕 and of course it wouldnt boot after that. so i decided to downgrade the bios to the version that was chipped with the board (0401) and the computer booted as normal again. then I went with 2012 still booting fine and last i tried 2201 again and im write from the computer so it works ok now..

so try to use an older bios file with the rog connect usb port procedure (or what it is called) and you perhaps get it up and running..
