problem with windows startup

Hi all

To cut a long story short i basically updated the AI SUite (dont ask), and in doing so something went wrong and now when i start up the computer wont do anything for a good 2 or 3 mins. Before it was instant, so i know somethings not right

When i was updating the AI Suite, i hit cancel and i think thats where the problems started. Anyway after that i downloaded the most recent AI Suite, and installed it - which works fine no issues, except when i start up the computer. When i get into windows i cant do anything for about 3 mins. I have noticed that it works fine when the internet connection is established. And thats where the problem is i think? Could i have deleted or corrupted a driver maybe? Heres a pic to show you what the connection bar looks like when i start up, its like this for a ling time and i literally cant do anything until it finds a connection. Weird

So far i tried installing the latest versions of: Ai Suite, Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility V9, Intel Chipset, Intel Gigabit Ethernet Driver, Intel Management Engine Interface, - basically anything that was newer. Maybe i just messed it up and nned to do fresh install? maybe someone can help me? many thanks

Some addition info which may help:)
I also had this issue which the delayed start didn't resolve so I went into the recovery option of the service and told it to restart the service on failure and set the interval to 2 minutes.
Not sure if this issue had any bearing on issues which forced me to do a clean install on Saturday which then allowed me to sort this problem out.

i figured out the problem. What i did was restat the computer, then, as the pc had just loaded windows, i quickly went go into Services, and look at what things were STARTING as opposed to STARTED. Well it turns out that it was the AsusFanControl Service was causing the problem! Weird! Anway i dissabled it from starting and bingo problem solved 😄
